Center for Public Technology Leadership

With technology playing a greater role in every aspect of public administration, there is a corresponding need to understand technology from a leadership perspective. The Center for Public Technology Leadership was formed to provide a special focus on the growing need for higher levels of technology leadership development from public managers at every level of government. The center is designed to serve practitioners and academics alike, providing professional development and certification courses, maintaining a database of technology leadership information, publishing cutting-edge e-books and print-copy books, articles, and monographs, and promoting best practices for technology leadership in government.

Through SPAA's strategic partnership with the Public Technology Institute (PTI) in the Washington DC area, the center provides enhanced presence with technology leaders in every facet of public management, both domestically as well as internationally.
